Etsy, a peer-to-peer e-commerce website focused on handmade or vintage items and supplies, as well as unique factory-manufactured items.
Overview:
According to the definition of Scenarios, which are both plausible and surprising, providing a framework for which to perceive the future (Schwartz, 1998). We first identified two critical uncertainties that will bear a direct impact on the course of marketing’s future: 1) the health of the global economy and 2) access to information and opportunity for innovation. By overlaying these critical uncertainties as X and Y axes, we unveil four possible future worlds, and my team’s world set is in 2024 named Skynet: people and corporations enjoy free access to open information and innovation, yet the economy is at a standstill.
The final scenario analysis report includes assumptions and analysis on Etsy Brand Persona, Customer Persona, How Digital Technology Advancement Impacts Skynet, Market Segment, S.W.O.T Analysis, Marketing Orginizations in 2024, Pervasive Computing, Big Data, Transmedia Storytelling, Social Branding, Content Marketing, Recommendations.
